How has the Internet altered practices and concepts of courtship and fidelity?
Due to the on-going development of the internet, several life altering changes have occurred. Specifically, the internet has changed the ways we date, as well as courtship and fidelity practices. Social Networking sites, such as Facebook and Myspace, have risen to network people of all ages. E-mails and Instant Messaging have developed as tools to help ease long distance relationships; letter writing is starting to become known as a pastime. Online dating is now commonplace. All of this developing technology has led to new questions regarding fidelity. What we hope to discover is how the internet has altered practices and concepts of courtship and fidelity.
